Make A Christmas Bauble Out Of Your Wedding Mementos
Why not incorporate something sentimental from your wedding day into your Christmas decor for years to come?
Imagine telling your future children about that extra special bauble on the tree?!
It’s almost too cute for words!
DIY Suppiles:
– A mememto from your wedding eg. invitation / order of service / petals from your bouquet / photos
– A clear glass/plastic bauble ornament (with a lid you can take off) available from Michaels (US) Panduro Hobby (UK), Amazon or local craft stores.
– Scissors
– String
– Any additional decorative touches such as glitter or ribbons

You might not think it but your wedding invitations could make a super pretty ornament with a bit of creative cutting and curling.

Though, to be honest I’d be reluctant to cut up my actual invite – perhaps make a copy or use a spare that didn’t get sent out!
DIY Wedding Photo Christmas ornament
Ironically, I haven’t actually got a pretty photo to show you, but basically, you carefully bend a small photo into the glass bauble and open it up so that the image faces outwards.

I love the idea of making one each year for/with your children and watching as they grow ~ your Christmas tree will inevitably have to grow too to make space for them all!
DIY Wedding Bouquet Christmas Ornament
Are you preserving your wedding flowers? Or perhaps you had (or are having) a petal toss instead of a confetti toss?
Then use those fabulous florals as a reminder of your wedding every Christmas with this super easy DIY.
Carefully ‘smoosh’ your flowers or petals inside a glass ornament, gently open themup with a BBQ skewer or pencil. Et voila!
