This Wedding in Costco Is Actually Quite Adorable

No word on whether they bought the rings in bulk.

Robert and Meredith Bonilla decided to take a walk down the (frozen food) aisle. The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at their local Costco, KEYT-TV reports.

Why a big-box retailer for a wedding venue? It held sentimental value for the pair because they met while shopping at Costco a year ago. They met in the frozen food section, and it was love at first free sample. (Sorry.)

Budget-minded brides, don’t get any ideas: Costco doesn’t normally double as a ceremony spot. The couple had to secure special permission from Costco for their event. But the store fell for the sweet story (and, hey, free publicity doesn’t hurt either) and let them hold the wedding after operating hours.

Robert stood on wooden pallets instead of an “altar,” poinsettias lined the “aisle,” and they found some leather massage chairs to lounge in after tying the knot.

Costco sells wedding rings, dresses, flowers, and even honeymoon packages, so why not venue rentals, too? Wonder where they registered for gifts…?
